What can I expect from working with you?
You can expect the same thing we expect: Professionalism.

This means we have a passion for writing and design, are attentive to details, and meet deadlines. We care about our clients and their projects and goals. We also stand behind our work 100% and want you to be satisfied.

I have a tight deadline. Can you start on my project right away?
That depends – on exactly what you need and what projects we’re currently working on.

The best thing is to contact us, so we can discuss your needs. We’re serious about meeting deadlines. We don’t take on work we can’t complete on time. However, we’ve frequently been able to meet a client’s tight time frame.

I only need design (or copywriting). Do I have to get both from you?
We understand not everyone needs both copywriting and design. Perhaps you have a designer or writer you’ve worked with for years. We’re happy to work with these professionals as well.

As a boutique firm, we fit into what you need. If you only need design, then Jennifer will help you. If you only need copywriting, then you’ll work with Julie. (Of course, we hope you’ll decide you need both of us as we’ve developed a great working synergy.)

I'm not a nutraceutical manufacturer. Can you help me?

I'm not sure if I need content or copywriting. What's the difference?

Content is material that informs. Content is blogs, articles, and email autoresponders. It’s also more than just writing – it includes graphics in infographics, memes, etc., and audio in podcasts.

Copywriting is short for direct-response copywriting. As the term implies, it is writing to get a response. In other words, copywriting prompts the reader to take a specific action. It’s a persuasive sales technique. Copywriting is sales pages, cold-calling scripts, ads, etc.

Content Marketing combines the two. It’s content that contains a call to action (click here, sign up for our updates, etc.). Those “actions” eventually end up on a sales page, or by giving a telephone number/email so your sales team can make a sale.

What are your rates?
Our rates are based on what you need. For example, let’s say you tell us you need a brand-new logo. Usually this takes a lot of concept-development time. You want to think about different combinations of colors, shapes, etc. When we talk with you, however, we discover you have your idea very well-formed – with some ideas about colors, shapes, etc. You just need us to fill out your idea. We would quote this project different from a complete logo design because that’s not what you need.

The best way to determine cost, is to contact us. Everything we do is custom  work. We’re happy to discuss your project and give you a quote. You’re under no obligation to buy.

What do your fees include?
Our fees include all work we negotiate in advance, as well as revisions – provided they’re requested in a timely manner and the scope of the project remains the same.

Your satisfaction is most important to us. We want you to be thrilled with the end result. If you’re not satisfied with our work, we’ll revise it according to your specific guidelines – at our own expense.

Do you use a contract or require an upfront fee?
Usually both are appropriate for the work we do. Contact us and we’ll spend a few minutes learning about the particulars of your project and your timeline. We’ll see if we’re a good fit.

Then we’ll email you a proposal that covers everything. If we agree on the details, you just sign the agreement that documents all the work required, deadlines, etc. A deposit is commonly required (usually 30-50% in advance of starting the project).

Do you offer consulting services?
Consulting with clients is part of what we do. We can’t really write or design without looking at your marketing goals.

We want you to be successful – and we’ll make beneficial suggestions about response rates, testing elements of your marketing materials, how to extend your reach with those materials, etc.
